Zooey Deschanel's side of the Nepture Emily story:
Jimmy Kimmel: I think Emily told us a weird story about growing up, that she would terrorize you.
Zooey Deschanel: Yeah, she came on here and humiliated me in front of millions of people. Yeah, she pretended she was from Neptune.
JK: Right, that's right, she was from Neptune.
ZD: She's four years older, which is like, a very vulnerable amount of years, because when I was like three, she's seven and she's already, you know...
JK: Evil.
ZD: Evil, yeah, so she pretended she... she basically just used the plot from Invasion of the Bodies Snatchers to terrify me. And in a very over the top performance, I might add.
JK: She's been replaced by aliens?
ZD: Yeah, okay, so aliens had, the Neptune aliens, killed my real sister and replaced her with a false Emily, who looked just like her, talked just like her, but when my parents weren't in the room, made crazy faces at me. Talked like Vicki, from Small Wonder.
JK: So it used to scary you?
ZD: Terrify.
JK: Did you believe it?
ZD: I was terrified!
JK: Were you terrified at all times or only when she reminded you of this?
ZD: She would make me cry and then my dad would come in and she would laugh.
